We’re delighted to announce that our brand new dining and bar area at Tembe Elephant Lodge® is ready to welcome you. Filled with character and rustic African charm, it’s a great place to gather and unwind after an exciting day exploring the reserve.

In addition, the luxurious new pavilion tents at Tembe® Kosi Lodge have also recently been completed. The new accommodation, secluded and nestled under mature umdoni or waterberry trees, provides you with an exciting opportunity to extend your Tembe experience to the pristine Kosi Bay lakes and estuary system. You can enjoy the numerous family-friendly activities on offer without sacrificing any of the creature comforts that you have come to expect from a stay at a Tembe lodge. As with the Tembe Elephant Lodge® your stay will also benefit the local community who are the major stakeholders in the Tembe® Kosi Lodge.

These enhancements to our Tembe guest experience, and numerous other upgrades to our lodges (that will continue on an ongoing basis) have been made possible through our special offer for frequent visitors to Tembe with a once off payment of R50 000 (€ 3300, GBP 3000, USD 3800) you can secure a pre-purchased 25 nights for 2 people at either the Tembe® Kosi Lodge or the Tembe Elephant Lodge®, which you can use at any time over the next five years. You also have the opportunity to tailor a stay at both unique destinations on your future vacations – offering you the best of the bush and the beach. This accommodation is being offered to you at a significantly reduced price (R1000 /person/night) with a fixed price for the next 5 years. At current terms this value would be worth R80 000 thus saving you R30 000. The offer at Tembe Elephant Park includes accommodation, all meals and game drives and at Tembe – Kosi includes accommodation and all meals.
